About the role

Reporting to the relevant Food & Beverage Manager or department leader, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage outlets and help deliver memorable dining, beverage and event experiences for our guests.

As a Casual Food & Beverage Attendant, you will support the team during busy service periods, functions and events, ensuring guests receive friendly, professional and attentive service.

You will have the opportunity to work across different Food & Beverage operations, developing your hospitality skills and gaining valuable experience within a premium hotel environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing friendly, professional and attentive service to guests.
• Taking and serving food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assisting with restaurant, bar and banquet setup and pack-down.
• Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented service areas.
• Supporting food and beverage service during conferences, events and functions.
• Assisting with In-Room Dining orders and service as required.
• Responding to guest enquiries and communicating any concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Following food safety, RSA, workplace health and safety and company procedures.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Supporting other Food & Beverage operations as required.

About You

• Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, bar or function environment.
• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.

Previous hotel experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

As this is a casual position, successful applicants must have flexibility and availability to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including morning, afternoon and evening shifts, weekends and public holidays, depending on operational requirements. Shift offers and hours will vary in accordance with business needs.
