About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Purchasing to lead our purchasing, storage and distribution functions. Reporting to General Manager , you'll make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time and at the right cost, while directing the Purchasing Officer. 

Your key responsibilities:

• Setting, rolling out and monitoring strategies, policies and plans for purchasing, storage and distribution 
• Developing and executing plans to keep stock at required levels whilst minimising cost 
• Negotiating supplier contracts to secure the right balance of quality, cost and delivery timelines 
• Reviewing and refining storage and inventory systems to ensure supply needs are met and stock levels stay under control 
• Maintaining tracking systems for all incoming and outgoing stock movements, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking happen at the optimal time 
• Overseeing the accurate recording of all purchasing, storage and distribution transactions 
• Directing and supervising the Purchasing Officer, and monitoring their performance 
• Ensuring products are delivered in line with Department Heads’ requirements

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 per annum
