About the Role:

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurants, bars, room service and conference and events operations. Every shift is different, offering the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of guests while providing genuine, personalised service that exceeds expectations.

 

You will be the face of our Food & Beverage team, welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience from arrival to departure. Whether serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails or large-scale functions, you'll take pride in delivering professional, attentive and efficient service.

Working closely with the kitchen, bar and Front Office teams, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our food and beverage outlets while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives under pressure and has a genuine passion for hospitality. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple outlets, build lasting relationships with guests and colleagues, and contribute to the success of one of Melbourne's leading five-star hotels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to hotel guests.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve meals and beverages while maintaining five-star service standards.
  • Prepare restaurant and function areas before, during and after service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all service areas.
  • Process guest payments accurately.
  • Promote menu items, beverages and special offers.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel team.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA and workplace health and safety requirements.

 

About You:

  • Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
  • A genuine passion for customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, energetic and team-focused attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (essential).
  • Full Australian working rights.
