Located on the banks of the Brisbane River, Stamford Plaza Brisbane is one of the city's most recognised luxury hotels, renowned for its exceptional hospitality, weddings, conferences, events, dining experiences and premium accommodation.

We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves hospitality, content creation, events, digital marketing and bringing unique guest experiences to life. You'll play a key role in promoting everything from luxury accommodation and riverside weddings to award-winning dining experiences, special events and seasonal campaigns.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, working closely with hotel leadership and operational teams, you will help drive awareness, engagement and revenue across all areas of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
• Creating engaging content for social media, email marketing, websites and advertising
• Promoting accommodation, restaurants, bars, weddings, conferences and special events
• Designing marketing collateral, menus, event materials and promotional assets
• Coordinating photography, videography and content creation projects
• Supporting digital campaigns and online reputation initiatives
• Managing event ticketing, promotions and guest engagement platforms
• Building relationships with local businesses, partners and tourism organisations
• Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on key marketing metrics
• Identifying new opportunities to drive revenue and guest engagement
• Requires flexibility and may require occasional after-hours work for events, activations, or campaigns

About You

You are a creative storyteller with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will ideally bring:

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a marketing role
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills
• Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns
• Graphic design capability using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
• Experience with CRM, email marketing and marketing automation platforms
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to work across multiple projects
• Passion for hospitality, events and customer experiences
