The Hotel

Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport is a 316 room hotel located in Mascot near the Sydney domestic airport. The hotel offers 11 function rooms, including boardrooms, meeting spaces and a grand ballroom, suitable for small meetings through to large conferences of over 300 people. It also features La Boca, an on-site Argentinean restaurant and bar, plus 24-hour room service.

The Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Full Time Porter to join our Front Office and Concierge Team at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport. The Porter has full responsibility to provide the highest level of guest service throughout every interaction with our guests.  

Key Responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact by meeting and greeting our guests 
• Assist Reception Team in Check in/out Guests
• Assist with parking guest cars 
• Assist in Transfer of Hotel Employees and Guests with Hotel Shuttle Bus
• Delivery and collection of guest luggage 
• Recommending hotel dining options and advising guests of Sydney attractions

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Pro-active team player
• Excellent personal presentation
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts over a seven-day rotating roster
• Hold a current Full Driver’s Licence
