The Opportunity
In this influential role, you will take ownership of the Conference & Events sales function, driving the performance and visibility of our C&E business across both hotels. Your focus will be on strengthening our competitive position, cultivating meaningful client partnerships, and ensuring our event spaces remain top-of-mind in the Adelaide market.
Working closely with the Area Director of Sales, you’ll guide a talented team, steer strategic activity, and deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations and achieve strong commercial outcomes.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the C&E sales portfolio with a focus on proactive new business development.
- Create and execute targeted sales plans to lift revenue and optimise conversion.
- Build influential relationships with key corporate, government, and industry clients.
- Support, coach, and develop the C&E sales team to deliver exceptional results.
- Monitor market shifts, client trends, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
- Represent the hotels at industry events, networking functions, and client showcases.
About You
- You will thrive in this role if you bring:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in conference, events, or hospitality sales leadership.
- A strong understanding of the conference and events landscape and proven revenue-generation ability.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation capability.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for driving business growth.
- Familiarity with the Adelaide events market (highly regarded).
