About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for service passionate and highly motivated Food & Beverage Attendant to join our growing team.
Stamford Plaza Melbourne is located in Little Collins Street Melbourne CBD close to conveniently accessible by public transport and less than five minutes away from Bourke Street Mall.
To be successful in this role, we seek applicants who like to be of service to others, who have table service experience, this includes the subtly of upselling.
Our Food and Beverage Team are dynamically flexible, they can be rostered either, in on the AM, PM shifts including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold Stamford’s service standards, this includes immediate guest acknowledgement via verbal greeting paired with a warm smile
- Provide exceptional service to our guests
- Assist with floor plan and cleanliness requirements prior to meal service, this includes table, set up and clearance
- Manage guests’ food orders and work with a team of chefs, managers and other food and beverage attendants to ensure guests have a positive experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate openly and professionally to cater to our guests needs promptly and professionally on every occasion during your shift
- Display empathy and kindness to all internal and external guests
- Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic drinks and hot beverages.
- Setting a high standard of work and representing the ‘Stamford Way’
- Exceptional knowledge of our food and beverage menu
About You:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Barista & Bar experience
- Strong communication skills and detail oriented
- Flexibility in your availability, across a 7 day rotating roster
- Passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate or willing to obtain.
- Food Safety and Handling Certificate or willing to obtain.
