About the Role
As our Wedding & Social Events Sales Executive, you’ll manage the entire journey—from the first inquiry to the final farewell. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead Management & Conversion: Handle all incoming wedding and social event leads with a consultative approach, ensuring high conversion rates and a seamless client experience.
- End-to-End Ownership: Commit to managing each lead from start to finish, including planning, coordination, and on-the-day execution.
- Sales Growth: Generate new business opportunities and achieve company targets.
- Event Documentation: Prepare and review BEOs, floor plans, billing, and feedback forms.
- Client Experience: Deliver exceptional service and ensure every event exceeds expectations.
- Creative Marketing: Assist in creating engaging wedding collateral to attract and inspire clients.
- Market Intelligence: Gather competitor insights to refine packages and introduce profitable ideas.
- Networking: Attend tradeshows and industry events to build relationships and attract new leads.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Conference & Events Sales Manager to implement strategies that boost bookings.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Conference & Events Management or similar.
- A genuine passion for weddings and social events with strong market knowledge.
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
- Professional, warm, and approachable manner with exceptional communication skills.
- Impeccable presentation and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel; experience with Delphi/Salesforce and Opera is highly desirable.
- Must be an Australian Resident or hold long-term work rights.
