About the role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Team Leader to join our amazing team of professionals in Banquets. In this role you will be instrumental in the day-to-day running of the Banquet operations including large-scale Conferences, Conventions and Events facilities.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet clients in order to confirm all services for the event.  Facilitate any changes to ensure clients'requests are met
• Anticipate guest needs and requests
• Attend to all enquiries regarding the event (i.e special requirements, costs of additional services / facilities etc)
• Communicate any changes to Banquet Event Orders to relevant departments
• Coordinate catering required for all events - ensure management of timing of food deliveries.
• Organise all conference facilities for all events, including signage, registration, wifi, print and copy services.  
• Organise team duties on a daily basis.  Ensure briefings are held prior to each event.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in a similar role and solid food and beverage background
• Experience working in a 5 Star Hotel is ideal
• Experience working in large multi-purpose function facilities
• Must have an RSA Certificate
• Must have Australian working rights without sponsorship.
