Stamford Hotels and Resorts is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Adelaide HR Team that works across two hotels: the Stamford Plaza Adelaide and Stamford Grand Adelaide.

 

The Role 

This is a generalist role with a wide range of responsibilities, which include recruitment, training & development, work health and safety, payroll and handling general HR administration. Your day to day activities will include:

  • Monitor and maintain the internal HR systems, ensuring the timely processing of requests, escalating or providing support as required;
  • Coordinate responses to the HR central email address;
  • Coordinate staff training and development;
  • Organising and actively participating in WHS Committee meetings;
  • Assist with the workers compensation claims and return to work ;
  • Provide support on all HR transactional issues and administrative support;
  • Provide general information regarding the application of HR company policies and practices;
  • Providing support with the coordination of day-to-day operation of HR functions as on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, recruitment and general HR administration.

 

About you

  • Previous experience in a comparative role coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • Previous experience in hospitality industry is preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to details, good time-management and organisational ability plus a can-do attitude and hands-on approach;
  • Knowledge of the Fair Work Act and employment law will be highly regarded;
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of employees and management.
