About the Role
Stamford Hotels and Resorts have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate and results-driven HR Director to support our properties in North Region (Sydney and Brisbane).
Core requirements of your role
- Oversee the planning, development, and management of all HR aspects
- Align the workforce with company goals including Workforce Planning and Budgeting
- Manage talent acquisition, including writing job descriptions, reviewing resumes, and interviewing applicants
- Develop and oversee training initiatives and programs including delivering training, measuring effectiveness to achieve required ROI
- Drive and manage employee performance tracking and feedback
- Oversee promotions and bonus distributions
- Draft and implement company policies and benefit programmes
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws
- Manage all employee relation matters
- Administer HR systems and ensuring efficient workflows and processes
- Work closely with Singapore HR Team to drive centralisation
- Propose, align, and execute all HR plans with business goals
About you
The successful candidate will be an experienced Human Resource, People Engagement professional within an operationally driven industry.
- Human Resources qualifications coupled with a strong understanding or experience within a large complex organisation – preferably within the hospitality/people centric environment.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
- In-depth understanding of Australian labor laws, industrial relations, and workplace compliance.
- Proven expertise in talent management, change management, stakeholder engagement, and dispute resolution
- Travelling is required
