About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional F&B Operations Manager to join the Food & Beverage Team within the Stamford Plaza Brisbane on a Full-Time basis. Reporting to the F&B Director, you will be responsible for assisting with the leadership of our Food & Beverage Outlets, driving revenue, engaging, and developing our team, enhancing and refining the guest experience, managing costs / par levels, ensuring quality and consistent service and product.
Key responsibilities and tasks consist of, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all guest interactions throughout the delivery of food and beverage service is always carried out with pride and courtesy by our team
- Liaise with outlet managers/supervisors to plan event order requirements
- Oversee rostering and duties completed for all service periods across all outlets
- Ensure correct cashiering procedures are followed in accordance with the hotel standards
- Ensure outlets are set in a timely manner in accordance with the specific meal period, inclusive of table set up, buffet set up and clearance
- Financial reporting / control of labour and beverage cogs
- Council compliance and WH&S is followed by all team
- Lead by example by displaying a “hands on” style, which encourages staff involvement, initiative and a focus on continuous improvement
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role as a Food & Beverage Operations Manager
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
- High standards of personal presentation and grooming
- A sound knowledge of the Hospitality Industry
- Knowledge of Argentinian food / cooking is an advantage but not necessary
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment, under pressure and meet deadlines
- Current RSA & RMLV
- Current Food Hygiene Certificate
- Knowledge of Micros system an advantage,
The successful applicant must obtain a National Police Clearance.
