About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Reservations Agent to join our busy Food & Beverage team on a Part Time basis to provide effective and timely administrative support ensuring that all food and beverage bookings are entered in an efficient and accurate manner, and all clients receive the highest standard of service, as expected at Stamford Plaza Brisbane. #spb  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take all Food & Beverage reservation bookings and record in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Handle all telephone calls and inquiries from guests relating to the Food and Beverage Department, responding where applicable or informing managers of their need to respond.
  • Respond to all guest and staff requests re food and beverage restaurant reservations in a positive and helpful manner to ensure that the administrative and operational aspects of the department can operate in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Monitoring forthcoming promotions and events in every restaurant and bar in the Hotel, to enable proper flow of information to public and staff, both written and oral.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required by guests or Management to ensure guests experience personalised, intelligent hospitality.
  • General day-to-day co-ordination and administration of the Restaurant Reservations system under the direction of the PA to the General Manager.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite & Opera
  • Hotel experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional personal presentation and conduct
  • Be team orientated and enjoy working in a team environment.
