About the Role  

We seek a professional analytical revenue strategist to join our leadership team at Stamford Plaza Adelaide and Stamford Grand Adelaide in the role of Area Director of Revenue Management. Primary responsibilities include working with the Adelaide portfolio to devise a rate strategy factoring in relevant levers and channel performance analysis, producing monthly reports for General Managers on property performance, and hosting regular meetings with stakeholders to work through strategy, recommendations, and past performance to maximise revenue opportunities through focused yield management practices and strategies. 

Core functions of your role 

To truly excel in this role, you will have significant revenue management experience, ideally multi-site and a thorough knowledge of Australian market trends and landscape.

  • Set and manage accommodation revenue budgets and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Proven ability to foster relationships with franchisees, and engage and hold robust conversations with stakeholders
  • Increase global yield through the implementation of contemporary revenue management operations, procedures and practices
  • Analyse and closely monitor competitors to ensure a competitive pricing structure and create and develop pricing strategies
  • Working closely with the sales team to provide information on pricing strategy opportunities to remain competitive and share identified revenue streams
  • Hold regular revenue management meetings with key stakeholders to ensure strategies are communicated and department heads are aligned to achieve results
  • Take a leading role in the management of computer systems in operation within the Hotels including Opera Cloud, websites, including any issues which may arise and to be one of the main points of contact within the Hotel for communicating and tracking these issues
  • Lead and support revenue analysts
  • Oversee the functions in our reservations department

About you

  • Proven experience in hotel revenue management, with a track record of successful strategy implementation
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and revenue management systems
  • Confident & articulate communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Highly motivated and can work under minimal supervision. Ensures time is managed effectively and efficiently
  • Proven experience in driving results and achieving and exceeding targets and KPI’s
  • Legal requirements to live and work unrestricted in Australia
