About the role
Stamford Grand Adelaide is a five-star hotel located in the beachside suburb of Glenelg, we seek an experienced professional to lead, manage and drive excellence, adding value to our service experience across our operational venues, Horizons Bar, Promenade Restaurant, the iconic Grand Bar, in room Dining, Banquets and the Pool Bar. This unique role is responsible for the overall success of the designated areas including the performance of food and beverage staff, coaching the team to achieve a consistently high standard of service, and ultimately create memorable dining experiences for our discerning guests.
The successful applicant requires experience in budget management, roster management and must have a clear understanding of industrial relations management and associated Hospitality Industry (General) Award and similar.
Core Functions of your role
- Drive SOP standards to ensure high level of guest satisfaction
- Manage the full life cycle of each team member – performance appraisals, staff development, coaching and mentoring for success
- Set KPI’s for the F&B team to uplift service standards and upselling opportunities
- Achieve budgeted targets through monitoring product, labour, inventory control, wastage and other operational cost
- Compliance with all statutory, WH&S standards, procedures, and processes
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to enhance operational performance and standards
- Respond immediately to guest feedback and complaints to ensure an amicable resolve
About you
- A professional career-focused hospitality expert with excellent service skills, exposure to fine-dining and event/banquet planning/management
- Available for weekends and nights shifts
- An ethical experienced leader who enjoys upskilling their team
- A desire to provide our guests with the best level of service
- Sound wine knowledge
- Hold a valid RSA or RPB and be able to uphold the company's responsibilities & obligations
- Focused attention to detail, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
