About the Role:

Stamford Plaza Brisbane is currently seeking passionate and hardworking Commis Chefs to join our talented Kitchen Brigade on a casual basis.

If you have respect for the industry, professional 5-star standards, a great work ethic and know what it takes to succeed, we could be a great match.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures.
• Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
• Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.

 

Requirements for the role:

• Minimum two years of experience in a similar capacity
• Degree from internationally recognised culinary institution preferred
• Working knowledge of safe kitchen practices
• Knowledge in Food & Beverage & Kitchen regulations
