About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate Accounts Payable. As the Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for paying all hotel invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring cost allocation is in line with budget and the preparation of reports as required.
In addition to the above, other duties include:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all hotel invoices by their respective due dates to prevent any additional payments incurred
- Maintain the integrity of the approval procedures by ensuring that all invoices are supported by appropriate authorisation & supporting documentation (Purchase Orders etc.)
- Ensure invoice amounts are consistent with contracts/agreements
- Ensure the accuracy of payments to the suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers with their enquiries regarding payments
- Assistance with costing projects as required
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Finance & Economics or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum two year of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Experienced in accounts payable & inventory movement functions in hospitality business will be advantageous.
- Broad competent exposure to all facets of accounting
- High attention to detail and astute analytical ability
- Technology savvy with computer systems (Microsoft Office, CHECKEAM inventory system, SUN system, OPERA etc.)
- Friendly, professional & effective communicator
