About the role
Stamford Hotels and Resorts have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate Revenue Manager to join our hotels located in Australia and New Zealand.
As the Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for managing the hotel room revenue, to deliver REVPAR performance against budget growth targets. Through analysis of market and local intelligence to ensure the hotel can pursue revenue growth strategy in line with budget expectations. This is truly an exciting opportunity for an experienced Revenue Manager to participate to the relaunch of a luxury five star hotel environment in Melbourne.
In addition to the above, other duties of this position include:
- Identify high demand periods well in advance and implement appropriate yield strategies and parameters.
- Completing various reports and analyse the data and recommend solutions to improve revenue
- Work in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing team on maximising all revenue opportunities
- Updating allocations, allotments, and rates on third party websites, GDS, hotel website and manage the channel management system
- Optimizing RevPAR by analysing/forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies and ensuring strong market mix
- Conducting ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competition
- Ability to identify possible revenue and implement relevant strategies based on competitor practises.
- Develop, implement, and manage revenue management tools such as daily pick up, displacement revenue analysis, forecasting models and groups.
Stamford Hotels and Resorts is looking for a person with the following attributes:
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills (both external and internal)
- Must have Experience working with SiteMinder and Opera
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Three years in a comparable revenue management role
- Strong analytical, business acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Shares a passion for the hospitality industry
